Terms of sale
Conditions générales de vente applicable to every engagement ordered on begbud.com.
Article 1 — Scope
These terms govern the sale of advisory engagements by Andersson Casper Lars Jonathan, trading as BegBud (“the Consultant”), to any client ordering on begbud.com (“the Client”). They cover the whole of the Consultant's activity as registered under APE/NAF 70.22Z (Conseil pour les affaires et autres conseils de gestion), namely: management consulting (diagnosis, organisation design, transformation planning, standing advisory) and HR advisory (hiring strategy, role definition, interview design, people-operations guidance). Both lines are sold by the same undertaking, under one registration, under these same terms, to the same clients.
Engagements are sold to companies, sole traders and other professionals acting for the purposes of their business. Placing an order constitutes unreserved acceptance of these terms, which prevail over any purchase conditions of the Client.
Excluded from every engagement: private placement and temporary work (interim); payroll and personnel administration; accounting and tax filings; legal or employment-law advice and any representation before a court or authority. The Consultant is not registered for those activities and will refer such questions to the appropriate professional.
Article 2 — Seller
Andersson Casper Lars Jonathan, Entrepreneur individuel (sole proprietor), France, 7 rue Notre-Dame de Lorette, 75009 Paris, France · SIREN 108 817 149 · APE/NAF 70.22Z · [email protected] · +33 7 45 70 26 58.
Article 3 — Services and prices
The engagements, their content, format, lead time and price are described on the engagements pages and reproduced on the order page. Prices are in euro and net of tax: TVA non applicable, art. 293 B du CGI. The applicable price is the one displayed at the moment the order is placed. Add-ons are priced separately and shown before payment.
Remote delivery within the European Union is included. On-site work is included in Paris for the workshop day only; travel outside Île-de-France is quoted in advance and never charged without the Client's written agreement.
Article 4 — Ordering
The Client selects an engagement, completes the order form, and is shown an itemised summary with the total, the amount payable immediately and any balance. The order becomes binding when the Client accepts these terms and completes the payment step. An order reference is displayed and an invoice is issued by email.
Article 5 — Payment
Payment is made online at checkout by card, iDEAL or Bancontact, in euro, through the Consultant's payment service provider. Card and bank details are handled by that provider and are never stored by the Consultant.
Engagements priced up to €690 are payable in full at the time of order. The Transformation Programme is payable as a 40% deposit at the time of order, the balance being invoiced on delivery of the written plan and payable within 14 days. The Monthly Advisory Retainer is payable monthly in advance.
In accordance with article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code, any sum not paid on its due date by a professional client bears interest at three times the legal interest rate, plus a fixed indemnity for recovery costs of €40, without the need for a reminder. The Consultant may suspend an engagement while an invoice is overdue.
Article 6 — Lead times and delivery
Written deliverables are supplied electronically (PDF and, where relevant, an editable document) within the lead time published for the engagement, counted from the working session, provided the Client has returned the preparation questionnaire at least 24 hours beforehand. Detailed times are on the delivery and lead times page. Nothing is shipped physically.
Article 7 — Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds
A scheduled session may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time; a cancellation in that window is refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, or once written work has been delivered, the fee corresponding to the work performed remains due. The complete policy, including how refunds are paid, is on the cancellation and refunds page.
Where the Client is a consumer within the meaning of the French Consumer Code, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (art. L.221-18) applies; if the Client expressly asks for the engagement to begin during that period, the right lapses once the service has been fully performed (art. L.221-25), and any partial performance is charged pro rata.
Article 8 — Client's obligations
The Client provides accurate information, makes available the person with authority to decide, and returns the preparation material on time. The quality of an advisory deliverable depends on the accuracy of what the Client discloses. The Client remains solely responsible for the decisions it takes and for their implementation.
Article 9 — Nature of the obligation and liability
The Consultant is bound by an obligation of means (obligation de moyens), not of result. No business outcome, hiring outcome or financial result is guaranteed. The Consultant's total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees actually paid for that engagement. Indirect loss — loss of profit, loss of opportunity, commercial or reputational damage — is excluded. Nothing in this article limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Article 10 — Confidentiality and intellectual property
Each party keeps confidential the information disclosed by the other and uses it only for the engagement. The Consultant does not name clients publicly without written permission and will sign the Client's non-disclosure agreement on request at no charge. Deliverables are licensed to the Client for its internal use once the engagement is paid in full; the Consultant retains ownership of its methods, templates and generic know-how.
Article 11 — Personal data
Personal data is processed as described in the privacy policy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the French Data Protection Act.
Article 12 — Force majeure
Neither party is liable for a failure caused by an event of force majeure within the meaning of article 1218 of the Civil Code. Sessions affected are rescheduled; if the engagement becomes impossible, sums received for work not performed are refunded.
Article 13 — Complaints and dispute resolution
Any complaint should be sent to [email protected] quoting the order reference; the Consultant answers within five business days and seeks an amicable settlement first.
Engagements are sold to professional clients, so the consumer-mediation obligation of article L.612-1 of the Consumer Code does not apply to them. Should the Consultant contract with a consumer, it will designate a mediator drawn from the official list kept by the Commission d'évaluation et de contrôle de la médiation de la consommation (CECMC) and communicate the mediator's name and address to that consumer before the engagement begins.
Article 14 — Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, disputes with a professional client fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. A consumer may bring proceedings in the courts designated by the applicable procedural rules of their place of residence.
